Can I ask for one part of a report — the cost, the options, what residents said?

Every decision council makes arrives as an officer's report, and every report is built the same way: why it came to council, what it will cost, what other options there were, what residents said in consultation, what the risks and the legal implications are, and what the officer recommends.

Those parts are labelled through the whole record — not just recent years, but every report back to 2011. So you can ask for one of them directly, and the answer is drawn from that part of the report rather than from wherever the words happened to appear.

There is nothing to switch on and no jargon to learn — just ask for the part you want in ordinary words. If that part turns out to be thin for the years you asked about, the answer says so rather than filling the gap with something else.
